Established in 1995 and serving the Crawford County Community and surrounding area for over 31 years, Attorneys Brad S. Starkey and Geoffrey L. Stoll bring 60+ years of combined legal experience to Starkey & Stoll, establishing their offices as a well-respected law firm within the legal community.

Geoffery L. Stoll

Geoff Stoll is a native of Carey, Ohio. He attended The Ohio State University where he received his Bachelor's degree from the College of Engineering in Landscape Architecture. After finishing his undergraduate program, Mr. Stoll went on to receive his Juris Doctorate law degree from the University of Toledo.

In 1987, Mr. Stoll joined the law firm of Kennedy, Purdy, Hoeffel & Gernert. It was at Kennedy, Purdy that he was joined by Attorney Brad S. Starkey in the practice of law including real estate, civil litigation, small business law, domestic relations, juvenile law and criminal defense.

In 1995, Mr. Stoll and Mr. Starkey branched off from KPH&G to establish their own law firm of Starkey & Stoll, LLC. Since that time, and in addition to their law practice, they established mediation services known as Mediation Works, LLC, and a successful land development company known as Crawford Land Development. Both Mr. Stoll and Mr. Starkey served as licensed Title Insurance Agents through First American Title Insurance Company. They are also certified mediators through the Ohio Supreme Court training program for advanced family law matters, and certified by the Ohio Supreme Court to serve as guardians ad litem in child custody cases. Both Mr. Stoll and Mr. Starkey are experienced felony trial attorneys as well as appellate advocates. They are also licensed to practice before federal court jurisdictions. As a practicing attorney for 30 years, Mr. Stoll has extensive experience in many areas including divorce/dissolution, custody matters, traffic / DUI cases, civil protection orders, felony criminal trials, motion hearings in all courts, civil litigation, probate and estate matters, and adoptions.

In addition to his work experience, Mr. Stoll has been actively engaged in various professional and charitable organizations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Crawford County Board of Developmental Disabilities (President). He is a long-standing member of the Ohio State Bar Association.

Mr. Stoll resides in Whetstone Township, and is an avid Lake Erie yachtsman and livestock breeder.

Brad S. Starkey

Brad Starkey is a native of Central Ohio, attending Ohio Northern University where he earned his Bachelor's degree with honors in Political Science and Communications. After graduation, Brad went on to earn his Juris Doctorate law degree from the University of Toledo, where he was a member of the law school's Moot Court Team and legal clinical programs.

In 1987, Mr. Starkey joined the Crawford County Prosecuting Attorneys Office in Bucyrus, Ohio as an Assistant Prosecutor, and was invited to become a member of the law firm of Kennedy, Purdy, Hoeffel & Gernert shortly thereafter. It was at KPH&G that he joined Attorney Geoffrey L. Stoll in the practice of law including real estate, civil litigation, small business law, domestic relations, juvenile law and criminal defense.

In 1995, Mr. Stoll and Mr. Starkey branched off from KPH&G to establish their own law firm of Starkey & Stoll, LLC. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Crawford County Bar Association, the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.

Mr. Starkey resides in Liberty Township with his wife, Karen, and their two sons, Hunter and Heath.
